that'd be worth trying if your stock unit went out and you need to get a replacement. i don't know how much used ct26 turbos go for...maybe $100... so another $150 wouldn't hurt, espically if it works great.

No that really is a 66.5 mm comp wheel Jake.

Ive had one of these in my shop before.

I told the guy he was wasting his time...

Ive never heard back from him.

As this turbo has been covered before, this setup is a giant surge monster.

that and if it did ever get spooled you'd snap the stock CT shaft in a matter of moments....

Theres a reason why garrett never released compressor wheels larger than 60mm on a to4 stock shaft (mind you the ct shaft is a little bigger).

It sells, just to kids who think bigger is better in this case. They go to put it on and find out that the turbo shop will tell them pretty much what John has already said.

I've gotten into a very heated conversation with the seller of this item before that ended in him begging me to just leave him alone. ;)

I should buy it, slap it on a stock manifold and make a humiliating video about it.

Probably break it on the dyno.

Just don't wanna get bits of bearing in my oil though. :(

busted fins would not go all the way threw the intercooler system to get into the pistons.
Even if it were exhaust fins, they would go out the exhaust
wouldnt they/

There was a local guy that put a GT40 compressor wheel into a CT26.

Dyno'd 420whp@20psi
At 23psi the tires break loose at 100km/h which doesn't happen at 20psi so it should have made more power than it dynoed but the dyno could load the car properly at 23psi.
