Up to you I wouldn't do it that way.

Why are you wanting adjustable pullies?

From memory the stock pullies are Sintered so I wouldn't risk cutting the centre out of one to make it adjustable.

IJ, sintered metal parts are stong enough to do that with.

I have this set that I picked up off somebody here a while back.
As soon as I clean them up a little, they will be replacing the fidanza set I have now.

And all of the old HKS & TOMEI adjustable gears were made from OEM units,
with the centers cut out, then drilled & tapped to accept their custom centers.

Actually, that is not a cut.
Those are made from 2 sets of gears, so that the ID of one will match the OD of the other.
If it was one set, that was cut, there would be a gap.

I see this style of mod coming out of England a lot.
It is so they have the original mounting point, and not have to duplicate it.
All they have to do is make a flat plate to join them together.

The reason why I am going with the home brew gears, is so my 7M doesn't look like every one else's.
The Fidanza style was copied from Unorthodox,
and the obx crap was copied from the Fidanzas,
and they all look the same.......

Blahhhh........

Wood would be cool, something hard like Teak :)
But you would have to watch out for termites, and they would warp if they got wet.

Carbon fiber ????
Beyond my capabilities :-(

Good luck. At least if it fails. You won't destroy to much! ;)

btw as mentioned before. Jun, HKS, and a couple more than that from the old time companies. He'll I think even stollen at that time.
