I wanted to know how many psi can I run if I use forged internals with a compression of 9.0 to 1.
Thanks alot guys!
I was thinking of like 22 to 24 psi on pump gas?

i readlly dont know but it really depends on your mods. i mean like if you have stock ct26 bump it higher than about 14 your running hot air. on the other hand my t78 is "slow" at 14 and when i turned it up to 18 its like a new dam car lol.

boost pressure is irrelevant. 22 psi on a CT26 is NOT 22 psi on a T78. larger turbos flow more air for a given boost pressure. select a power goal, then select a turbo to get you there.....don't select a boost pressure.

I come from a land down under
To get all Nerdy and taking it as a stock 7MGTE at 24 psi boost and stock Compression ratio I get the effective compression ratio is 18.77:1 and you'd need at a minimum 122 octane fuel to run it.

I would lower the compression a tad bit more before running that much boost IMO. Still a noob to turbos, but engine knowledge is key.

NERD!

effective CR is fun to play with, but in reality it can be a bit different.....heck, my (STOCK) engine has survived 30 psi....
