About a 1000 weight difference, very close race from 30, beat me by a hair. :naughty:

Guy was cool, his car was about '01 and still beautiful. He said he only had it for about a month. :nono:

Raced one a while back on the highway, his passenger caught it on video apparently. It was a 50ish roll iirc. I started to pull on him a bit, and would have kept on, but we ran outta room. I don't remember what we ended up backing off at.

Rebuilt 7M with 2mm cometic (slightly lower compression), ebc 12lbs dying stock ct, 3in exhaust, intake.

He had exhaust, and intake.

Honestly I was disappointed I didn't pull on him more.

1000th post!

His is a stock JDM 2J swap with an auto...

In a MK4 that is a low 13 sec car even with an auto, now in a MK3 a high 13 sec. S2000 run high 13's so it would've been a good race.

Poodle is right. The reason is more likely my exhaust setup.

to start it's a 3'' downpipe courtesy of SC. then for who knows why they attached/left it 2 1/2" the rest of the way. I've taken it in 3 times now to quiet it down. First 2 times adding resonators, 3rd to swap mufflers. I couldn't stand the loud drone.

One day the car will be fast, just not in the near future.

At what boost? I'm sure the 2jz car could be made a lot faster. Frankly it's just too dependable for me to change anything right now. I've had to put nothing but oil, brakes and tires (well the was the track incident) on it since 05.

Tough loss George. Did you try brake boosting? Not that it would have helped much since your turbo's come on pretty quick anyways. S2000's aren't much more than go karts with air conditioning. They're just a bit lighter than your car and I'm sure you were bigger than he was. I doubt you'd even fit comfortably in an S200000000000000.

How's the '92 running?

Yeah. I need to make it more worthy...eventually. After riding in Mariano's I have my goal for it.

92 still haven't cranked her yet. Will give you a call.
