I wanted to know if anyone knew if you needed a HAC sensor if you are running a VPC. I have an 86.5 that I put a GTE in it will all electronics. Because I started with a GE I never had this sensor. Doing reading online and on this forum I’m not sure that I need it. My engine harness has a bunch of extra plugs that I am not using and I’m sure that I have an extra one under the dash for this sensor. Reading documentation on this sensor, it seems that you only need it when running the stock MAF. With the VPC you convert to speed density with the pressure sensor and the temp sensor. Does anyone think that I need this sensor?
