80mph+ in to a tree, then 2hrs stuck in the car wile the jaws of live saved him.
It looks bad real bad, but he only had broken bones in his feet from the instant lack of space after the impact. The guy at the lot asked if the driver was dead.

WOW... This guy is extremely lucky hes alive, not to mention that he will make a full recovery and isnt a vegetable. Things with the car will work themselves out, but for now just be happy you didnt lose a friend

mom was worried about the driver but said she would be mad later.

he was driving it because he wanted to, Cant say much more on that.

air cleaner is about it, the list is very short the wheels are ok maybe the f20c and trans.

I'm confused....

Was this your friend driving your Mom's S2K?
Your friend driving his Mom's S2K?
Your Mom's friend driving her S2K?

***Edit*** Just re-read title, it is your Mom's car, Who's friend was it?

I guess you're mom must be cool to let your friends drive her car... That crap wouldnt happen with me...

anyhow, at least here, insurance doesnt follow the driver, only the car.. Which means, your mom's insurance is the one that pays for the wrecked car (not saying they would, dont know what the policy is).. Then your mother would have to sue your friend for the damages.. Especially since it will probably go against your mother's insurance record..

I can see why he wanted to drive her S2000, but why would he be going 80MPH when he had NFI what he was doing?

I'll add this one in the "driving without due care" column.

I'm glad he's ok, but he might want to consider a high-performance driving school before he decides to break any speed limits again.

Sorry to be an asshol... ok, I'm just an asshole.
