I didn't want it in the first place. I was browsing around ebay and came upon that auction and remember the old threads on this upgrade and why it's not a smart way to go. So I figured I'd let him know about it, since he only sells the front half and doesn't install it, therefor not knowing how it actually performs in the real world.

But if you want it, Email him asking about the $175.00 deal he offered one guy, I'd say he'd give it to you for that price just to shut us up ;).

I think he's native to the US. He just wanted to irk me after I was being persistant. He claims to have been running a performance turbo rebuilding company for over 20 years now. :dunno:

He finally admitted that he doesn't personally do upgrades larger than the 60-1.

No seriously Chris, when will you have it on the dyno? If it performs as well as I think it will, I may buy two of them. It never hurts to have a spare. This could easily replace my GT35r.

Are you talking about the 67 trim or the 60-1?

What are you're thoughts on the 67 trim upgrade being offered on ebay?

Or was you just joking and I didn't see the sarcasm? :sarcasm:

No no I really did build a 67mm ct26. A guy sent me all these parts and said, here put this together.

I don't think any thing over a 57 or 60 trim should be in a ct26 housing. I think the 60-1 is asking for trouble, let alone a 67mm wheel!

it MIGHT last a little longer with a garrett center section (there is a guy selling 60-1's with garrett center sectison but the stock housings on ebay, supposedly they last a while)

At that price if I could get it made for less that $500 I'd try it...

Why would you want a true 67mm wheel in a baby ct housing? Im sure it's bored out but still, compared to a real 67mm compressor housing that thing is miniature.. Oh well I guess like that guy said "some people think bigger is better."
