cruise control button for launch control???

ok im going to install a launch control and i want the cruise control button on the left side of the steering wheel to be the activating switch. is the button able to perform this action and if so where is an easy place to splice into the wire. not sure where the cruise control computer is so not sure where the route of the wires are.

The main switch MIGHT be able to be used for that as it's simple continuity. The other switches won't as they're resistance based.

I like the idea, but you're going to need to look at the wiring diagram in the TSRM to see if it will even be possible. If you do this, may I suggest that you paint over the "CRUISE" lettering, then label button with "AWESOME"?

Mine isn't hooked up to a switch at all. It's hooked up to the speed sensor and the clutch switch. If speed = 0 and the clutch is in, going WOT triggers boost on launch.

They operate the same.

Pre-89 is different because the main switch for it is on the dash.

but im buying my meth kit before i buy this launch control module.
