Share your experiences with your CT 60-1 upgrade:

There's so much 'opinions' floating around that I'd like to ask those who are actually running it to share their experiences:

Loved it - VERY fast spool, lots of power, bolted on easily.

Lasted ~1700 miles. :( Haven't bothered to get it taken apart to figure out exactly what failed, but it's got death whine. It's sitting in my garage at the moment, I decided to upgrade.

perhaps you should rephrase your question to include FULL 60-1 or a CT upgrade....

I have a 60-1 upgraded CT with a 10 degree clip on the exhaust wheel. Like a couple guys already stated, I love the SUPER fast spool. I can break the tires loose all through 1st and half of 2nd and can get em to break loose from a roll, depending on how fast Im goin. Its crazy loud and intimidating. So loud, that Ive had several people tell me that it hurt their ears when I spooled up next to them in traffic. From what Ive read, since mine is clipped it actually spools a little slower than non-clipped ones, if so, thats insane because mine spools quick as hell. It makes great power, Ive made 371 RWHP on a terrible tune. It pulls hard all the way to the redline with ease. Ive been running the turbo HARD for about 3 years now with no probs as of yet. Ive always warmed it up before boosting and cooled it down properly, so Im sure that has helped. Overall, Id recommend it to those of you guys who are on a budget. I wasnt ready to spend 1-2 G's on a "real" turbo setup so I went with the upgraded CT. Its a cheap, fun, and easy upgrade.

My upgraded CT-26 is comparable to a 60-1, maybe bigger :D. I've had mine installed for a year and a half or so about 5k miles. Zero problems thus far.

I love the quick spool, and it hits very hard when the boost kicks in. I don't plan on going any bigger because I am afraid of lag. I'm making 360rwhp@16psi and have no need to turn it up higher right now. Worth the money if you want to keep stock manifold, lines, etc. but still make some decent power.
