That has to be the stock rotor, I just got my calipers in the mail and looking at where the brake pads are the rotor should be spaced much further out than that.

yes mk3 rotor. this was just a test fit of the caliper to see if it would hit the wheel face on this particular wheel.

Rotors are 2012 mercedes R350 (without 3rd row seating) i believe that is what denotes the 330mm rotors instead of the 350mm ones that are too large.

i got the plain rotors off rock auto for 70 bucks a piece they're stoptech's and look like decent rotors. the hats painted black and the inside where its vented. part number is 12535089. and for pads i got the porterfeild r4-s part number ap 847. im going to put them on this weekend most likely and will take some pics of it all

Gonna wait for a few more people to do this swap before I pull the trigger, but man am i tempted to do it now to replace my warped rotors and old sticking calipers haha.

Better get a set of calipers atleast! The ebay used market is drying up! If your current stuff is in need of replacement i see no reason not to do it. Itd probably cost about the same as replacing with stock stuff.

i posted a couple posts back asking about painting and whatnot, I thought I'd post a picture of one of the completed calipers.
I used 2 coats of black caliper paint, A high heat vinyl sticker, and now I am about to put on a coat of clear gloss high heat paint

Yeah I played around with a couple different colors and decals; Brembo, TRD, Supra. Decided black caliper and supra for now, I'm still torn between supra and TRD, once they're on the car I'll decided whether to take it off, strip and re-decal them lol

Caliper bolts:
- Mercedes Benz 220 caliper bolts.
- They are different threads than the mk3 calipers.

Does that mean the threads on the car have to be re-cut for the Merc bolts to fit?
