Local machine shop is the best source - in my case, I had them made by my machine shop at work. They're pretty easy to turn on a lathe - they shouldn't cost more than $50-75 bucks. 4130 is probably one of the better material choices.

that's my mistake.maybe it was jake reed,that sound right.i bought it a few year's back,kinda forgot:biglaugh:

When I disassembled and sandblasted mine, it certainly didn't look like a forging.

there didn't seem to be alot of meat on my hub carrier's.i would have been a little worried about drilling them

I was 99% sure they were forged but I'll have a close look at one of my spares when I get a chance to confirm.

I agree though the offset mounts are the way to go.

looking closely at these pics, you can see markings consistent with the position of risers/feeders (on the strut mount and the #1 rear arm attachment boss)...thats what I based my assumption on.
