It would be interesting to know the logistics and feasibility, even though it wouldn't really be worth the trouble Considering our cars just spin the wheels over 500hp, it would be nice to fully hook up 800 on street tires!

Have considered it but the weight factor killed that idea so DBW TRACTION CONTROL took AWD's place

Funny anyone remember seeing the thread with the AWD soarer? they used a tacoma transfer case mated to a 2j it was a drag car and I think it was Russian? Just cant remember if it was this forum or the other.

its cool all the way up until you factor in rotating drag. 7 sec 1/4s not fast enough? I can promise awd wont help. Especially launching 50/50 split. More like 30/70 would be better suited. Running my subaru rwd is completely odd but the weight transfer helps moving when the fronts arent smokin.
