Another Monster 7M

Finally I have found some time to post my freind's street supra 7M.
The engine is a Supra 7MGTE with a Y2K Turbonetics 88mm turbo.
His first run was 9.2sec were he have learnt a bit the car and ran a 9.0sec run on 35psi boost.
nest month we will be having an event were for sure he will run high 8 sec run.
Please note that this is a full street car just a 9" rear end.

Does anyone know what the fastest 1/4 mile time for an MK3 is? I know there are some 2JZ powered MK3's that are in that ballpark. It would be nice to see the record go to the 7M.

Well, it is hard to say. I consider a true MKIII with a 7M (IMO) so having said that, it would be this car posted. Having the glide or 9" doesn't matter that much to me.

It's just nice to see 7M powered MKIII Supras repping!

RPM around 9000
It is a shame that we are in europe as I think we have the best 2 7M engines and cars in europe.
With my dragster and this car we are ready to race with 2JZ
By the way both our cars run on racing fuel no methanol....

care to give away any details on the motor. Im just curious as to what brand components you went with for those rpms. is the car a dry sump or just pushing the stock oil pump really hard?
