A no pic. update. A/C is still rocking ice cold even with the temps in the upper 90's these last 2 days!! As for the turbo smoke some times it is there some time it isn't, so I have just been taking it easy on her and just running up to town and back. Checking the oil every time before I start the 7m I think I have put about 13 mile on her since the smoke started. The caddy is getting the attention now and being driven :evil2:

A couple pics from a local car show we were at. After being at the show, it makes me want to by a 03 cobra Other then that turbo is still smoked but the A/C still working great with R134 I recived in the wire harnesses for the viper 771xv remote start/ alarm form Justin so maybe this week I will start on that. (thank you again Justin). I think I will use the turbo timer harness for tapping into the starter/key harness since I have it laying here so I dont have to cut that wire. More plug n' play this way. Now I just have to find/order a new 548T antenna for it.

The only thing is that the tank of gas is now half a tank after I filled it and I only drove 9 miles among other things... Ummm..... you know who you are :kickinthenuts:

There was a Supra in my driveway...with the Targa off...and the keys in my pocket, I couldn't control myself! I promise Sean did more driving than I did though...:icon_bigg

Not 100% sure yet. Im enjoying my days off and to spend 2K to finish the car to the new goal (smaller upgraded turbo, 550's, AFM, APR, piggy back, fuel pump), would mean I would have to end my days off.:evil2: I hope sooner than later. One of these days I just need to take off the turbo quick to double check that it is the turbo. But if I do that, I cant move the car witch would be a pain in the ass to get the mower out.

But I also really, really, really, really want to get a maggie for the caddy now. 550 RWHP in a DD

sounds like fun for around 6K with all new parts!!!

It is all just a money and time game, and right now I have more time then $$$$, lol.

I'm getting the leather seats for sure now.

As far as the exhaust goes, I got a 3" divorced downpipe, into RT Cat, and the HKS turbo exhaust. Mine had the same problem to begin with. Just before the downpipe gets to the cat, there is a bracket that the oem exhaust bolts directly to and does not use hangers. There, you can fabricate an exhaust bracket to or just use a hose clam as I did (see picture).

Also, with the hangers on the very back near the pipe, i doubled up on the left (drivers) side to make the pipe even more level (with tighter hangers) and it was a b*t(h to get on there, but they are almost level (picture). I hope this helps.

Thank you for the tip on the HKS. I will check it out and see what can be done. Last time I looked under her it almost looked like the flange on the DP I have is not at the correct orientation.

The leather seats are a GREAT BUY!! They will take a lower offer of $400 for the leather only and they install pretty good. Just takes some time and and the correct tools ( small hog rings & pliers)

Pretty much plug and play. Just reuse the OEM backets. Same as any other radio, you just have to tap into a couple wires for the Sat. Nav.

Just wasting time in the garage. Finally installed the nut needed on the front left nose inside the fender. What a PIA to get to, and also put some new DOT 3 in the brake system. The old was pretty dark. Other then that, just keeping it clean. Got a pretty good lead on a GT35R so new turbo, fuel, and piggy back might be coming soon

Proper is the key word there. I still drive mine where ever I want. I'm just embaressed to, due to the smoke on idle. She still gets driven around town

Piggy joke, na. just no need for a full stand alone anymore. maftpro should work just fine for what I need.

BTW why dosen't SS answer the phone??

I too have been feeling the pain of driving the supra after Ive gotten used to my DD having DBW.

Ill also motion you get a maggie! and a twin disc! Then maybe a dry shot! I think I would be happy if I could just get long tubes.:nono:
