I'm trying to convince my father (Who owns a machine shop) to buy a 5th axis cnc vert mill. We've already got a 4th axis, just have to finish wiring it up.

We were actually playing with the idea of making the stock TB but bigger. Also making titanium turbine wheels instead of the steel ones as well.

From SURUKO's build thread, i'm talkin about something like this, i dont see how cutting some piece of alum tubing, and machining down the flanges requires a 5 axis CNC.

If you read my post I said it would require a 5 axis to make an adaptor plate as in a single plate, not a pair of flages with tubes welded into them...
