3000gt vr4 has some pretty good 4piston calipers, just curious if any mk3 owners have made a DIY kit to fit it on a mk3.

what is the diameter of the 3000gt VR4 v MKIII Turbo supra?

if they are the same. then it is not an upgrade.

I believed they are 12.7 inch rotors for the vr4. the non turbo 3000gt brakes are upgrades for fwd dsm bolt on.

Since theres no bolt-on OEM upgrade in that regard, no matter what other car you'd use, it'd have to be modified to fit. I personally was considering an E90 BMW hub for the 1 series' 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears, and I also really like the Ellipsoid 162 wheels from the sport package 330is and 335is, though that would probably require a wheel no less than 18"s.

This is not true at all. The VR4 caliper are 4 piston fixed position where the MKIII calipers are singal piston sliding which allows for alot more flex in the caliper which reduces stoping force.

Something I rarely see mentioned in the Supra community when discussing BBK's is the weight of the brakes. If you're upgrading, get something proven to be both more powerful, maintaining good bias, and something that weighs less than stock if possible. ;)
