Reviving an old thread. My first motor which was stock with 317k on it. NGK wires, copper plugs and an intake and exhaust ran smooth at idle. Then my second motor would pop and miss at idle but ran fine. I noticed when the guys did the install that the coil pack didn't have its ground. How do...
I am going to do it all myself Nick, plus I've tried the vise grips it doesn't work that well. What did I start here with the whole Gilligan thing? LOL
for a "stupid-mania" there sure seems to be a lot more knowledge and a lot less bashing going on over here...OFFICIALLY my preferred site, yall rock over here!
Yes, these guys have helped me solve many issues! Supra Mania FTW!
Gotta give the surface of the block an even resurface to get all the left over gasket material off I found out that I can buy some to replace the old ones.
Hey guys, its been a while. So, I have some time to work on the old supra motor. I got it all apart but, I can't figure out how to get the two "Dowel Pins" that are on the surface of the block off. I heard vise grips but, I didn't want to go that route. Is there any tool and if so can you...

Hey Medical. yeah I wanted to buy the Stage 3+ in the first place but thought it was over kill plus its like 100 bucks more than the stage 3. Little did I know about chatter on pucked clutches. I think I'll put it up for sale to get a 3+. For now I think I'm just going to go all stock. Theres no...
Hmmm, Yeah I was looking at Action Clutch for a while. They used to be affordable and "old skool" back in the 80's when my dad was racing. Thanks to Aaron at DM its alot more than expected but atleast I know I can use it with my Fidanza.
Yeah, I would like to know this as well. I wonder a stock clutch and my Fidanza would be fine or perhaps a stage 1 and resurfaced flywheel for my setup.
Personally, I vote there should be a sticky thread with Clutch and flywheel setups describeing drivabilty and affordabilty as well as work or places to get the work done. Even though we are in different states, its good to be pointed in the right direction. On another note, should I use ARP...
