im assembling a 1j bottom and 2j head for my new project out of parts laying around the shop. so has anyone hear ever joined a 1j bottom and 2j head before and if so what are some of its running characteristics? example:1.5jz goes in to boost early and good torque.

ok ive got a blown 1j and a na 2j at disposal is it possible to put the 1j crank in the 2j and are the pistons in the non turbo taller or does the high compression come from the crank stroke?

well today i was playing around hard with some and i blew up the 1j,id like to make it a 1.5jz but i dont really have the money for a 2j turbo bottom end but, iv got a buddy with 2 2jzge's i could probly get for around 400 bucks and/or a bare 1j block with just internals for 600 bucks not sure...
