Thats crap. I would trash the loaner, but thats just me. It definately sucks getting anything done near an instalation, they take thier business for granted and walk all over people.
As for the ABS its just a matter of your driving. I preffer a good old lock up over the stutter instant fade of...
nice build! I was just wondering if you could send the number for your machine shop? Also, was that your torque plate they used or do they have one in house. The biggest reason my build has stalled for a year now is I want it right the first time and finding a machine shop that knows the 7m in...
yep, oilpan bolts are a pain from the get go. sounds crazy but they make liquid duct tape, clean well and give it a shot. as long as the oil stays in the pan who cares how. I did this to pass inspection in germany.
Does not work however in the power steering system. chances are the PO put...
Ive seen your car mkiii, around Chemeketa, your like the only supra around I cant seem to catch in my daily. You drive that thing like I do!
im in salem also but if the stars align right I should like to come up this summer and see if we cant all get a cruz going.

you stationed at bragg? hair cut was a clue but the headlamp was a dead givaway. not to mention the bike, snowboard and a high chair, we realy get to live the good life...
welcome to the supra world! Fair warning though, Ive had my car for 4 years and have been able to drive it for about 1 1/2...
Personaly Id say sell it or get the right bits to make it worth while (GCC ect). I tried tuning that thing with an safr both before and after + and - %50. Nothing. opened it up and turned the dial down and yeah, it leaned, to 9-1 afr's. better than stock but not worth the trouble or cost of...
is it the pfc or what? If its a pfc, I know they were model specific. I wouldnt know for sure but if the tccs on the "2" models of mk3 were different it may not work right anyways. Also,
if you plan on doing anything else to your car, assuming it does work, tuning with that thing on there is a...
fwiw, I just pulled mine apart for the same reason, overheating up then down ect. No blown headgasket, at least not visibly. there are no "steam cleaned" pistons or anything but my coolant did fail the exhaust gas test and was spitting coolant after driving. I burped it, replaced the therm...
get rid of the boost leaks, back out the screw, drop the fuel tuner to 0. check your vf. let that settle out and then you can work the fuel presure to get you even closer. get the timing right and then you can work back and forth with the piggy back and your vf. good luck, I fought mine forever...
spec 4 here, chatters in reverse but holds like a sumbich. probably wouldnt be as bad if I had the flywheel turned but I just pulled the motor after about 6000 and there is little if any glazing.
looks like this thread is all tied up but fwiw, i put in the koyo and the shroud and fan fraged in a few days... who knows what happened but it was tight to begin with.
Bump lol
