i think i'm gonna re-torque my head bolts this weakend for safe measure... or should i? as far as know, the engine internals are stock and so are the head bolts (no ARPs). the motor was rebuilt by a toyota dealer about two years ago from the previouse owner.

i installed a new battery today because the original one tested bad. now the car wont stay on, or wont stay running. it starts up fine but as soon as it goes to idle it idles real low and rough for a sec and then dies. would it be a bad altinator?

my battery wont hold a charge anymore and i'm going to get a new one. which do you guys recomend? also, i'm thinking of relocating the battery, too. know of any good relocation kits or what exactly to get for that?

did the compression test per TSRM and my results are:

so, i just got a set of some old school toyota 16" wheels and all go on fine except for the front right. the inner wheel rubs over the top of the brake caliper. i know its not the wheel thats bad because i've tried it with all the other wheels, and they go on fine with the front left and both...
so, i'm comming back from Santa Fe and at a stop i noticed my idle was higher than before. before this i've been running with a code 51 so my idle was at about 1k-1100 rpm. now its at about 1300-1400 rpm. from what i've been told, Code 51 is an out of adjustment TPS. could it have gotten worse now?
i've been searching but cant find anything on tail light removal for my 89'. is it difficult? are there any special "tricks" i should know before starting the task?
