Yeah that's the direction I ended up going. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be actually. Think I might just swap the whole intake manifold with wiring harness so I don't have to mess around pulling the harness out.

Will try and get a pic later. The JDMs were for R12 but I just had it converted to R134 and that's when we discovered the leak. It's just the hydro fan set up, no separate fan. Where can I buy aftermarket ? I will have to look more into the parallel flow condensers?

Quick question: does anyone know if the US and JDM use the same condenser? I have a 1990 JZA70 and looking for parts. Thanks!

thanks for the replies. The oil was not milky at all and coolant was still up to level so I'm thinking that probably isn't the issue. Tonight I took off the turbo looking for a blown turbo gasket or other major exhaust leak. Gaskets seem all good, some of the manifold bolts were a bit loose but...

should have specified but I have a DM 60-1 single kit along with the intercooler and piping and their 46mm wastegate.

So, just got my car out of storage yesterday and took for a first drive. After an hour or so of easy driving I opened it up on the highway and right as I hit full boost (~18psi) it was like I hit fuel cut and lost power (have HKS FCD so I know that's not actually what it was just same feeling)...

the timing did end up being off. I think after I lined up TDC it must have moved a bit when loosening the crank pulley bolt off again. Runs great now and the cams are a big improvement! Thanks,

So I am in the process of installing my BC 264s and when I go to take them out of the box and put them in for the first time I noticed the one tab is broke off on the intake cam. After searching in the box I found the broke off piece. I'm guessing this must have happened during shipping but...

thanks guys, I drained it and removed. The lines are starting to feel pretty brittle so that might be a good idea. I was changing cams today but my crank pulley bolt is being a bitch so that's my next problem. I'll have to try and find someone with a good impact I guess.

Can someone tell me if I need to drain all the fluid out of the hydrofan if I need to remove my radiator? If so where's the best place to drain from? Thanks,

You would be able to get close to the lower end of your target with the 440s, but any higher than that your are definitely pushing it. Good budget solution is the MKIV 550s, but if price is not as much of a concern there are a ton of options

For some reason JZA70's don't have dash dimmer switches but I am wiring in an EBC and would like to at least be able to dim this since I plan on mounting it on top of the steering column. Is there something I can pick up at an auto electric type store (rheostat/potentiometer) that would work...

I have the 24 x 9 x 3 installed on my 1jz with a single and I have no complaints. Overall quality is definitely great, especially for the price. I bought the 2.5" piping kit as well, but being a generic kit I did have to do some minor modifications and buy some extra couplers to make it work...

This is my latest dyno with 60-1 with .58 A/R. 15psi and about 10.5-11 A/F. 340hp, 350 lb-ft.
