Quick question: does anyone know if the US and JDM use the same condenser? I have a 1990 JZA70 and looking for parts.
Thanks!

Nope the JDM number is different.
JDM - 88460-24051
USA - 88460-14252
USA version was designed for R12 jdm I am not sure if they were R134 yet.
You might want to consider paralell flow if you plan
on R134.
The design of the two probably varies also between lhd and rhd.

Will try and get a pic later. The JDMs were for R12 but I just had it converted to R134 and that's when we discovered the leak. It's just the hydro fan set up, no separate fan. Where can I buy aftermarket ? I will have to look more into the parallel flow condensers?

If you want to use the old one is it repairable?
You could try and special order the part number listed earlier or see if there is a paralell flow that is close in size and have an ac shop install it and fab the mounts. Thats the route I am taking here. Most of the ac shops in kuwait have second hand condensers and are good fabbers. I just hope that by doing this it will help keep my temps down both inside and out.
