Rebuilding the old girl.

If I do end up removing it I will more then likely run new lines just off the master.

Just curious if anyone has ever removed their abs unit. Mine doesn't work so keeping it is pointless. Will it change the pedal feel? Will it affect the front and rear split on the brakes?

I'll look at it before I start cutting. I'm gunna start ripping into it once the snow is gone so I can get it out of the barn.

In the long run I was thinking fuel cell. But for now just rust repair. That's the only rust on my whole car.

I finally bit the bullet and decided to start building it again after 1 1/2 years of sitting.

I haven't been able to find any other pics so far. I've got a few more memory cards to look thru. Hopefully I end up finding them

I did end up finishing it. The passenger side was a pain. I ended up extending all of the wires on that side to tuck them up into the wheel well. I broke my old phone, so I'll have to find the pics if anyone is still interested or needs help with it.

I felt around for cold spots, I found that almost 3/4 of the rad was ice cold. I just panicked due to not getting the block machined like I should have

Radiator was plugged up almost solid. New rad on the way. Thanks everyone.

Well so far its not looking like a headgasket. It seems like a cooling system issue. Half my rad is ice cold after it has been sitting, while the other side is blistering hot. I'm not losing coolant. More trouble shooting to come though.

I straight edged it with feeler gauges and it checked out. I'm not loosing coolant at all (check again later). I'm still running my stock rad/fan but I have no shrouds installed. None for the fan, or under the car. Not sure if that matters. I'm jut hoping its not the gasket, although I have a...

I'm thinking it could b my stock single core radiator. It's fine at idle, until its under load, and the temp creeps up. It doesn't shoot up. If I back off on the throttle it won't cool, but it won't get any higher.

No I haven't. I don't lose any coolant. When it idles its 100% normal temp. My oil is clear, no milky residue. And my plugs are a lil on the black side.

I dont think my gauge is accurate..
