    I don't know if they are tty for sure. But I would never re-use head bolts.. buy factory bolts if anything, but I wouldn't re-use head bolts.

I looked down into the oil filler hole, with the cam in the factory marking spots, but the lobe isn't straight up like it should b. Its retarded about 3 teeth or so.. if I advance the cam 3 teeth...

    Valve lash is all in spec. When I was originally checking for tdc, I used a long 3/8 extension in the number one plug hole.     Thanks for the usefull info Dan, I should have known that.. lol. I followed tsrm to the t when I set my cps. It is at lower engine rpms that it runs crappy. Once it gets past 2500 its clean all the way to 4000rpms (not gunna rev out a fresh top end rebuild). Ill try more today, and see where...

    I asked this question in a different thread on the site but it seems more fitting here. I can't get my car to run right no matter what I do. Its set at 0 i, 0 E, and the cps is set to factory spec. I hit it with a timing light, and it is at zero, but it won't idle, and it breaks up...

    So the problems persist.. I got a timing light, and adjusted the cps so its at 0 tdc. Factory cam gears back in set at 0. And the car still runs, just as poorly as the video.. I'm really at a loss.. the cps is set with the little drill hole at the notch, and everything is in factory alignment...

    If I can get my hands on a timing light tomorrow morning ill definitely give that a shot. Maybe it is off and I'm just not seeing it. Everyone makes mistakes here and there, I am human lol. So the possibility is there.

    Set and reset the cps about 3 Times now.. setting it per tsrm. Ill put the factory gears on and see what happens.. I've only tried setting it on the obx gears.. not the stockys.. Yeah 7M4EVR, its seems like its at the top on the intake side.. I've never had such a hard time timing an engine...

    crank at top dead, set at the zero mark... cams directly centered with the cam cover marks... turned over by hand to insure everything is lined up.. im not an idiot...

    I found a pretty severe vacuum leak, but the rough running still persist. no matter how I degree the cams I cant get it to smooth out below 2,500rpms.. im stumped. im almost thinking about putting my factory cam gears back in, and seeing if there is a difference.. any ideas anyone?
