How goes it guys?? Anyone know of a Black Turbo around Cedar Rapids, IA? I was out cruising and passed him, looked like an 89+. There's only a few up here. Mine is loving this cold weather.

Hey there, just my 2¢, but on my 1J block I had to remove the stock FPR, as the BiC motor mount uses those two holes to mount on the cold side. I then simply bolted the regulator back onto the mount. I can't tell from you pics whether or not this will work, but best of luck!

FWIW I'm on TT wheels with Eibachs and Tokico Blues, and I love the way it rides. Need to swap out a strut mount, but everything seems to sit pretty nicely. Wish it was moar low, but I'm not complaining with the terrible condition of the roads out here. The setup is quite aggressive even though...
Spun the shit out of the first three gears all day in the rain. So eventually I had to trade it out for the Corolls-Royce before I either killed myself, or flooded the darn leaky hatch!
I'd love to see how those 300's ride. I bet you can just manhandle them around corners!! Currently I'm looking for a nice CBR600 F4i. Trying to spend no more than 4k. Anyone have insight on the split seat VS the banana seat??
Thanks!! It hasn't been too bad tinkering on it in the car. Helps loads getting really familiar with the motor while it's on the engine stand for so long!!
I was inspired to contribute after seeing some more beautiful work on this page! Put about 30 more miles on the swap, running great minus boost cut. A lil dusty and dirty in some pics but a little rain helped clear out some of the cobwebs. Finally put a hood back on it and parked it back in the...
Looks snug in there!! Did you have to stand on the windshield and golf swing a sledge hammer into the firewall a few times to get those twins to fit?? What kind of trans do you have backing up that bad boy?
And rightfully so. As if anyone could produce a product as sexy as you did!!! The car knew that it wouldn't see such glory again so it spontaneously combusted.
Pic #2 is for the stock charcoal canister I believe. Personally I used the two in pic #3 for my BOV. The other two (pic #1 and #4) are the same, and for OEM map sensor as mentioned.
I'd recommend hitting up Shaftmasters! I don't know if you want a one piece, nor what material you want it made out of, but they do custom stuff and they're pretty reasonable. I did an R154 trans swap and put an aluminum shaft behind it. Out the door it was like $350-$360, which is not bad at...
As far as I know, intercooler mounting is mostly a DIY deal. You kind of just have to fab mounts and get it to sit properly in there. I would mock up all of the piping and get your intercooler connected and supported, and then go from there in the sense of measuring for brackets, getting...
Looking very fine in white!
Here are a few of mine at the end of the summer.
There the 636 I mentioned earlier. We had it all torn down to its skivvies to repair and reinforce the ram air duct. Too many wheelies set down far to hard disintegrated that piece fairly quickly. Unfortunately...
That's awesome!! Yeah... I'm 6'5" so that is definitely a huge factor for me. Currently I ride (in the summer....) an older FZR600R, and I'm really looking forward to the upgrade. Absolutely love the sound of those CBRs too. What kind of Kawi do you have? My bro has an '06 matte blue 636 that is...
