it was the guts of the O2 sensor. it was in his beat ass civic that he beat on daily. idk really know how it happened either lol but it was a sight to see

is your muffler packing coming apart? and what about your O2 sensor? watched my buddy shoot sparks then a big chunk of metal out his pipe, ended up being his O2 sensor

lol you have to look at their point of view, its a 20+ year old car. that estimate on damage is WAY more than what the insurance company will be willing to pay. not trying to be a downer but it may be time to start looking for a new one, and ripping any parts off now before the insurance company...

if the damage is only really what we can see in that pic, $3,300 seems a bit steep, i would look at a different shop. and yes insurance companies will try to get you out of their hair ASAP by lowballing and just trying to total everything.
