Front facing intake manifold for 7mgte

Ok so i went searching on here for info for a ffim for my 7mgte and i found a thread saying that the 1jz or 2jz intake will bolt right up to the 7mgte i wanted to know if this is true or not. i have a friend wit a spare 2jz intake and wanted to know if its worth it on not before throwing away my $ for no reason. any info would help thanks

I highly doubt it. Theres a reason why Sethron made custom 7MGTE intake manifolds

no 1j and 2j intake manifolds have different lower runners and will not bolt directly up to the 7mgte or ge head with custom making a lower runner

They don't bolt up, but you can cut and weld the runners relatively easily.

Err... if it's really relatively easy, why have we seen this attempted at least a dozen times and finished maybe twice?

you could get this but for the money you could go custom or do other things with that money
