    easiest way to pull engine?

    I am pulling my engine out for rebuild soon, just curious as to what the easiest way would be? It will not be the first time i have pulled an engine but will be the first time on a supra. I am wondering if i should pull the engine and trans together or separate them? let me know from experience...

    If the cats were plugged in most cases the car would run poorly boosted or not.... I would agree with the wastegate. pull the elbow off and if handy grab a vacuum/pressure pump and apply pressure and release see how the flap is working. wastegate opens on pressure. and i know from experience...

    more problems grrr

    have checked fuses? main relay? And without engine cranking you will not be able to determine no spark or fuel. Check your cables too. along with power and grounds.

    gt35r swap has begun, have a few questions

    i just put the gt40r on mine, my cold pipe to tb is wrapped and actually stays cooler than the 57trim i had on prior. you will wanna wrap the downpipe very well or you run the chance of melting your speedo cable. Happened to my buddy when he had my setup on his car.

    is it a cal emissions car? if so like on mine with egr gone, it sets erg gas temp code, after 100 miles or so, you can put in a 5k ohm resistor in that connector to eliminate the code. what spec did you use on the head?

    i am guessin you swapped harness and ecu as well correct? if not then your problem may be in the afm conversion not bein read by ecu. I would check for codes as well as checking leaks. please list all that you swapped

    ok so still no leaks found. can the exhaust back pressure make a difference in engine vacuum? that is the only other thing that was changed was installing the t4 tubular manifold.

    what about the air going in to intake through engine? i think i can work something out maybe just take accordion off and pressure the turbo inlet pinch off the pcv and iscv lines. just worried about the air going into the engine trhough open valves

    where can i find a qsv? also what would be the best way to psi test this system? have heard of a few ways but the inlet on this turbo is rediculous big. Also would it be possible to get the car up in the air and have some run it maybe break boost it and search for leaks that way?

    thinking of goin t4 setup now. Blew the dm 57trim.......

    When i talked to aaron at dm he said like 1 in 30 will have random failure. whether it is defective parts or assembly. i was impressed with it along with the customer service i got from aaron. he is going to warranty the turbo for me, i just need to send it in soon.
