nope i cant here it while under the hood the only time i hear it is when the motor is under a load and im drivning and now i beleive im starting to here it throgh out 1-3 now so the car is permanetly parked for now im getting my moms ford escort so itll probably be a year or two until its back...
when the sound happens its like its at the bottom of my feet at the rear of the motor but i cant here ti outside of the car at idle but yeah only in first gear i ever here it ill check exhuast after work and some of the odds and ends but i was also told it might be the timing so does anyone have...
okay so the other day when driving home from work this weird sound started and it sounds as if to be coming from the bottom of the motor when im inside the car but when im outside i cant hear it it only in first gear and only at about 2k rpms its just a really quick slight rattle/very very faint...
i beleive when i removed a oil pan from the 7m block i couldnt get it off and it was pissing me off and i beleive there were bolts at the very back of the pan bolted into the rear main i didnt notcie am i correct or am i wrong?
ya id have to agree with them above i had same problem like a year ago and just had to replace the valve cover gaskets and properly torque them down and havent had a problem since.
i have to agree the front looks perfect but the rear is just ugly looks like sething somebody would try to put on a honda even knowing they are to big for it.
i just purchased an intercooler kit for an sr20det and all the piping also and it all pretty much fit without an issure just had to cut a little of a couple pipes to make them shorter thats just about all.
haa thats pretty funny. ive actually gotten a ticket one time and the person wrote down for the make of the car honda lol it was pretty insulting to me.
wow that would seriously suck if the springs came off the perch like that. did that happen before you purchased the car or were you drivng it when it happened?
