    Spokane Supras

Most of us Spokanites with MkIIIs "know our stuff", are always interested in learning more, and are generally up for a meet. My current build, '90 Turbo Targa, is being restored. It's all primer-ish white. She won't have a name until we get to know each other better. My roommate has a '92 NA...

    Need Exhaust Suggestions 7MGE

The aftermarket exhaust manifold and downpipe will be an excellent addition to the cat-back purchase. ^_^ (You'll really enjoy playing with the Soup after you bolt everything up.)

Another mk3 supra build by Gonzy Tuning and more to come

The pure sexy that pours out of this car brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic job on the car. Fantastic job on the video. But most importantly: Fantastic job on being fantastic, Gonz.

No, I was talking about where it bolts to the head.

Just a side note for the exhaust. When you get it, drill out the bolt holes on the manifold so you don't run into problems when you try and mount everything up. When I received mine the high-temp paint was nice, but it made the hole too small.

When I had my '89 NA I was running a full Pace Setter (Monza) exhaust. It had a similar design to ryansmith's. 2"/2.5"/3" in a 6/2/1 setup. Sounded perfect. Same low end torque curve, not intrusive, yet not quiet. When you're handing a 4-banger it's lug nuts it sounds beautiful; more so when...

mk3 in dec 08 super street

This isn't the first time they've supported the MkIII community. Once I dig through my archive of SS mags I will get you the month and year of the first one I saw. BTW, it was jet black, RHD, with loads of money poured into it. HKS everything.

That product is used to detect misfires. It also requires the engine to be running while using it. I appreciate the thought, but it would be of no use in my situation. Mike

    Baffled

I am having a problem with a no spark issue. At least that's what it sounds like. Recently I replaced the oil pan gasket and when I was finished I tried to fire it up, but to no avail. After re-checking timing numerous times I figured I would replace the plugs and wires because they needed to...

My brother is a jack-ass, help

Would you care to say what should be done instead of just stating something is wrong?

    Finally got some new shoes!

I like them. The wheels themselves have a nice attention to detail. They also look great on your car.

Transmission wings, anyone have an extra set?

I believe I have a set floating around. I'll look for them when I get back to my car and let you know.

    Vvti?

    Vvti?

I figured I would clear up something real quick. VVTi stands for Variable Valve Timing intelligence. The entire system is set up to produce more midrange power; to create a more gradual power band, if you will. If you dyno'd a VVTi and a non-VVTi engine, both stock, you would see the non-VVTi...

My brother is a jack-ass, help

You will get Code 51 when the TPS is in the CLOSED position. It just needs to be calibrated. If you continue to get Code 41 after Code 51 is cleared, you should replace the TPS. I remember seeing a write-up on how to adjust the TPS somewhere, but can't seem to find it. If someone runs across it...
