Unfortunately that setup requires 17" rims as well :( The caliper I posted was the ST205 Celica 4 pot caliper Oh well guess I have my answer. Previa calipers...

    Brake upgrade question

No for the MKIII, I think it's 110mm And I love those rims, but I want 5 spoke, which maybe I should call that company and see what a set would cost, it may be cheaper in the long run I already know that, if this doesn't work I'm going to just stick with EBC red or yellow pads and good quality...

    Hi all! MK3 Turbo d/d owner and a 24HoL driver/wrencher.

Welcome, I used to live in laurel md until last year, the salvage yard up there had a MKIII in their yard with the glass still in it. Might be worth checking out

    Brake upgrade question

Yeah it had a set of endless covers on when I bought it, bought the car at midnight 3 states away and got screwed over because I did. But live and learn, all part of growing up. But now I've put together the EVO/STI rear Brembo setup, but it fits under a 16" rim. In my experience if I'm unhappy...

    Brake upgrade question

This is something I've yet to work around without a BBK, the size isn't that bad, but the thickness of the stock rotors leaves much to be desired I'm not trying to cut corners, I'm trying to reach my goals without overshooting them. I realize that what I'm doing is considered...

    Brake upgrade question

I actually haven't purchased the wheels yet (moving and don't want to haul the extra weight) but those are the rims I want for my car. And there are plenty of people who autoX with the stock brakes with better pad/lines/fluid/rotors, so why is a minor upgrade to the calipers the "wrong" thing...

    Brake upgrade question

I was under the impression that they were 4 piston? Again, 16" rims. Night pager kit needs 17" and doesn't properly use all of the disc. And how is upgrading it not doing it right? I simply don't want a overly large BBK (more like a MediumBK) but I do want an upgrade, I need a middle ground...

    Brake upgrade question

Daily driver with the possibility of autoX in the future. I drive very spiritedly and would like my car to be equipped to deal with my style of driving... While maintaining the look I want

    Brake upgrade question

For about $1k per rim. None of this answers my original question. I really just need to know if anybody has tried this and if it worked. Or if there is another similar option that achieves the same goal I'm all ears.

    Brake upgrade question

I want better than stock calipers, my plan so far is to install the EVO Brembo rear kit along with the getting the larger master cylinder and some type of upgraded front calipers that will all fit under the Starion 16" rims. I know there are better options and ways of achieving better brakes...

    Brake upgrade question

But that isn't a caliper upgrade

    Brake upgrade question

16" Starion rims... I won't be able to fit a full BBK under that small of a rim, but that's the look I want for the car so I have to find a middle ground and I would rather its a Toyota product.

    Brake upgrade question

Don't want a BBK, just want a little better than stock. Personally I have yet to surpass the capability of the factory brakes, but I really dislike the thought of a single piston front brake system. So I'm still in search of a factory upgrade, which so far has only led me to the Previa calipers.

    Brake upgrade question

So I've been researching a factory brake upgrade for my car and I came across an old post on the "other" forum that mentioned the use of Celica All-Trac calipers on our cars. They mentioned that they bolted right up without any modification, but i can't find any info to back it up. Is this true...
