That is beautiful, I like the second pic with the supra in the background. Be careful moving that engine stand, it looks like it could tip over if you so much as look at it funny.

Glad to hear it will be cheap fix. I managed to slide into a curb with the old supra (got cocky winter drifting in a church parking lot). I bent the drivers side knuckle and it cost me over a grand to have fixed :(

That’s a hefty goal for 5 grand. The motor will have to be entirely rebuilt and would quickly eat thru your entire budget. Then it will need an all new turbo and fuel system. Plus some way to tune it; at this point standalone ECU is probably your best option but means more $$$$ to have to...

Mo, can you send me any info on the specific package you went with. I got a quote for seats and it starts at $1400+. Just trying to see why there is such a big difference.

Auto ecu is fine. You can swap a manual trans into and auto car without changing the ecu but not the other way around. Since you are piecing this together try and make sure the Ecu, block and harness are roughly the same year. It will prevent compatibility issues.
