my 88 has it, I dont hit it in first ever, only in second sometimes in the gear change when the readend dances back and fourth for 5 or 6 seconds and at the end of 2nd when im trying to keep the turbo spooling hard for 3rd
NA manifold uses ACIS thats a power adding system but it dont give u a whole lot, maybe 5-8 hp? The turbo manifold does not use this system. Look up ACIS for more info, its very complicated and not woth the little extra power but cool at the same time. Its a power adder similar to Vtec but it...
The CT 26 is small and spools very quicky under even light throttle, from the time u step on it, it should reach full boost within a second or 2 even in 5th. The turbo is also gear dependant, first gear you may have less boost. I had a BC on mine but noticed a HUGE problem.. it would produce...
How much do they want for the pump and install? Its a 1/2 - hour job, walbro 255 is waaaaay better then tt pump and basically drop in (just need ziptire and wire connector) It goes for around $95-100 bucks shipped. Just make sure when u drop the tank you have very little gas maybe even let the...
so is the axle teeth the same as the other toyotas, bear with me I might be on to somethin, I am not tryin to mate the truck carriers to my rearend, the spool would replace the carrier if the teeth are the same mesh
I just need to raise it a few hundread RPM im not talkin about running it all crazy lol you try to keep a T66 with a .84 exhaust side from loosing its spool between shifts, u need to keep the rpms up high were not talkin about a CT 26 that maxs out at 3,800 - 4 grand. its not bad at all but now...
Does the Supra use the same axle splins as other toyotas? I am looking into gettin a detrioit locker or some time of ratcheting spool to lock the rearend. Anyone know the # of teeth or if its the same as other Toyota rear end axles?
There MUST be a way to trick the RPM sensor, like you can do to the fule cut sensor. When reving to near rev cut my T66 has 0 lag going into 3rd but sometimes I hit limiter. When I shift early like 6 my T66 laggs going into 3rd I only need a couple hundread RPM difference
