I wento the junkyard today in search of a tranny. I have a 1989 NA auto with no ABS. The junkyard has only the 88 style trannys. What is the difference between the 88 and 89 style? Can I use a 88 style? Can I use a tranny that is ABS equiped in my non ABS car? They have plenty of 86-88 trannys...

The automatic tranny is not working. This is the first time I did a install with an automatic but I dont know what I could have done wrong. The tranny lever shifts but the park and all the functions are not working. What could be wrong?? :nono:
