    power from a NA 7m

I.J. Any idea if US dynos and Oz dynos give similar numbers for rwhp?? 200rwhp seems like a lot since the toyota claim about 190hp at the flywheel from new.

    Things I should know?

If you must use toyota head bolts make sure the threads in the block are in pristine condition. Get a clean head bolt and make sure they turn smoothly all the way in to the block. Dont put too much oil down the threaded hole either. It may have a bit of a hydraulic lock effect if there is...

    Pulls hard after 4000RPM

In support of the other posts mentioned above. The ACIS valve is spring loaded in the open position. SO if it fails it is more likely to fail and remain open. Open is for high rpm operation.

    n/a high rpm build

In the Cressida ECU. Stock was 12Mhz. There are two that need to be swapped. I have used 12.96Mhz. These are in Blackcat's cressida and I also tested the ECU in my car. I have 14Mhz in mine since I have a shift kit and the auto up shift points are now too low in the rev range...

    n/a high rpm build

Yes but they have all been cressida ones. I think they are similar anyway.

    n/a high rpm build

I have done the crystal swap on few ECUs and I would recommend caution particularly on a turbo engine. For my 7mge auto it worked well as I mostly wanted the shift points to increase in rpm. A 10% increase in xtal frequency should be fairly safe. This will up your rev limit and shift points...

I am a little confused on distributor install.

It tells you that you are at TDC no 1 and not TDC no 6. Since you have your cam notches lined up then this tells you the same thing.

    Cam seal problem

I put my cam seals in dry and put the silastic around the top of the cam bearing cap where the gasket tries to squeeze into the corners. So I guess it never really came in touch with the seals. They shouldn't walk out anyway.

    Cam seal problem

New cam seals and little bit of permatex silastic fixed my leaks. Those tight corners where the cam cover seals around the bearing caps is a prime spot for a leak. Thats where I put a drop of permatex.

    Lets talk about head shaving

Shaving the head will retard both cams as stated above. A retarded intake cam will reduce compression pressure and slightly undo the effect of shaving the head.

    Header/Exhaust System Design

:bsflag: ... This is seriously misleading for the readers. The grouping of cylinders 1,2,3 and 4,5,6 is correct. The firing order of 1,5,3,6,2,4 produces alternate pulses in each group. A exhaust pulse starting from 1 will reflect at the 2 into 1 collector as a negative pulse and...

    Header/Exhaust System Design

Why have you changed the grouping of the primary pipes?? Isn't it going to screw up the pulse spacing and interference effects??
