You will get more gains by upgrading the headers than any other exhaust component.
On an NA engine a cat back system will just make your car louder and may feel a little stronger up top.
Don't bother. It will be worse than the stock.
The longer the primaries the better it will work. The black one above is the best design I have seen yet. If it is going to be a tri-Y design then make the primaries long. Otherwise there will be too much interference between cylinders. This is...
Why not modify the OBX headers. They are stainless and the primaries are mandrel bent and nice and long. You could have a collector made that just bolts straight on to the cat and also still slips on to the twin two-inch output from the headers.
They do seem to be well made. TIG welded with...
Just put a heated o2 sensor further down stream and problems solved.
The modified OBX seems like a good option. The mandrel bends and merge collectors seem to be very well made. I have a set that I would love to fit but they have clearance issues on right hand drive cars so I am back to our...
If it goes away after 2000 rpm then its not rod knock. Rod knocks get louder at higher pm and at higher load.
Check for exhaust leaks around the manifold.
Power steering idle up. Detects a load on the power steering pump and then increases the idle to compensate. That small hose is the filtered and metered air supply for it. If its working well you can barely notice it.
Does anybody know why the supra Y pipe has a little cover plate just where the two branches of the Y meet? I have seen some with and some without that little cover.
I could bodgy up a switch for you that lets you manually select 2nd gear. Also you may want to manually lock up the torque converter. At our last dyno day it gave an extra 5rwkw with the torque converter locked.
I have another spare ECU at home that could be set up as above.
