My school has all the TSRM's - they rock my socks - they have everything that I ever needed to know - the other cool thing is that they are so easy to use and browse through - were allowed to use them on our Toyota specifics tests and there has not been a question on any one of the tests I have...
Time to start tracing some diagrams. I would start by checking to see if the wiring for the fuel system and the theft system are integrated or not. I know that if I had a theft system on my car - I would want it to cut out power to the fuel pump.
BUT do this check first - just check for...
An aftermarket plastic one would be the way to go - metal is way to heavy....
My plastic one is cracked as it is, but some zip ties have held me over.
Or there is always that option of installing some electric fans - which would have a shroud of its own.
I have a few that are worth sharing.
One time after parking it with my gf for a really long time the windows were fogged up and I couldn't see squat - my gf left to go to class or whatever and I just started driving not thinking anything about the fact that I couldn't really see out of my...
Whats the sport button do?
Why does it stay flat when you take a turn?
Are you going to slow down? (right before I take some of our wild turns on some mountain roads)
I have never felt G forces before until just now.
(muscle car guys have said this) This is the only acceptable import I have...
Let me just say this - 944 Turbo = FAST CAR (once you get the chip) lol yeah I love that little side note too - you would think chipping it wouldn't do much, but truth is, those cars end up being a lot faster than the 911's The torque from their engine is unreal matched up with their 50/50...
Let them total it, buy it back from the junkyard that they sell it to. You can get it for SOOOO cheap... my brother did this with his 77 corvette, it had frame damage and the whole deal, he bought it back for 500 dollars, and insurance paid him 13K for the loss of the car.... see where I am...
Sounds as if you all need to borrow an oscilloscope...
I have ran these sort of tests several times while actually driving a car, the oscilloscope will let you see the voltage pattern in relation to time. Our regular voltmeters don't update near as fast as an oscilloscope does, thats the...
Who cares what you just had done to it!!! 15K, he would have had me at 10K much less 15K
There is a lot more that you could have gotten with 15K but I guess you can't really put a price on our cars - they are all special to us.
Those guys filming that video were very annoying for one thing, and that Supra did not seem like it was fully modified... it would have kept up if it had been. The other thing about that video is they weren't even doing real races - supposed to get side by side and go on third honk - and there...
Not too too many. I don't see a lot of them... I know of a few MKIII's around here, but they aren't anything too special... I think that it is just where I am at in Ohio... I haven't been here for that long either. I just HATE all the flat land... I need turns back (used to live in TN where...
Yeah.... those cars happen to be rare as hell though... which is why my room mate has to look into ways to sort of replicate it... and a 1000hp Supra is hard to come by as well... at least around here... gotta start planning a trip to Vegas ;) that would do the trick.
No idea whatsoever... that was a really hard video to find, my room mate happens to have a Corvette that he has just about fully redone and wants to build the engine in it and put turbos on it similliar to that Callaway's setup.. so I looked everywhere to find a video of one out on the street...
Its a sad day, but this is one smoking fast car... a callaway corvette... pulls off 190mph!
Too bad it wasn't an MKIII... it would have held a chance ;) lol

I used to do a lot of auto body work when I was in high school (had an auto body class). I have painted a ton of valve covers before... and yeah, you wanna use high temp paint. You gotta remember this, valve covers you can usually touch with bare hands, but they can get warm to where you can't...
O wow, I feel horrible, I paid 4200 for my car, it had no sort of damage, but the engine wasn't in that great of shape... only if I knew then what I know now.
