i go craftsman, get the mechanic set then add on pieces as you need them.
i have a 3 1/4 ton i think floor jack(CM) and it works fine. it just started to squeek though so i hope its not dieing on me. its about 2 years old, i hope it just needs greased up a bit.
its not being uncomfortable, its just a case of not knowing How lol.i just didnt see the obvious way to get them off when i looked. if someone could post How to do it?
i know there was a place selling motors with new head gaskets. they offered you the full range of what type of gaskets/bolts/studs ect. basically pick and choose what you want them to rebuild on the motor for additional fees. i cant think of the site though, anyone know of a place like that?
i thought you had to take the hub off to get the lugs off? i have one broken off and i remember looking at replacing it. i couldnt without pulling the whole hub off... unless i was just stupid and missing something.
id still bet its the MC. if its going to the floor then later works thats exactly what mine did. it could be slowly dieing thats why its not an all the time problem.
start cheap and bleed the brakes with new fluid and go from there.
i had the same thing, turned out to be the master cylinder went out.
sucked too all the local brake shops wanted a Fortune for labor+parts. ended up getting the MC from napa and had a local small brake shop put it in for like 20 bucks. this was before i turned a wrench in my car, now id take...
from what i been told gas is gas. most stations fill their tankers up from the same facility. shell,76,circle k etc. all at the facility with tankers in a line to be filled. after filled they mix their own blends into it if they want.
the biggest thing is how old the gas is and how the pumps...
ya post up the number im curious to see if its the same kit i almost bought.
i got a hook up on speed bleeders if your interested i can prolly get them cheaper than anywhere.
man thats crazy. sucks the stores near me didnt have that kit lol, oh well.
buy some speed bleeders to bleed with. makes it Very easy and you can do it yourself.
thats also what worries me. going to one of these install places that just slam the alarms in not really knowing the particulars of the car. seems like alot could go wrong especially with remote start and door locks and all that.
that viper alarm is sweet.
is the price 500 installed what youll actually pay? or will they want more cause the supra is old. i know it does all the remote starting and all that will they try and get more money for the install?
ive been putting off an alarm for a long time just because i dont...
ya for 3$ i cant imagine you are getting a rebuild kit. like i said the kit i was going to use was 25$ and only came with i think 2 rubber seals. i think that was all it had.
