walking up to the car and it unlocking because you have the transponder in your pocket is cool. if it unlocks from a certian amount of feet with out pressing buttons and allows you to press a button to start a car all with the remote in the car then its nice.
with out any of that you might...
So you bought it taken apart? I also looked on hks and didnt find anything.
I've never had a external waste gate but to me it looks like its missing something to make the valve open. But i idk for sure.
steep not really. hks advertises there new waste gate at 900 and you can get them for 700+. maybe 500 was better. either way why?
i just dont get how you can spend the money for one and then take it apart and leave it. ive never owned one but from looking at the pics i "think" i could...
To me its go somewhat of a supra body line kinda but with more of the 09 gtr body line plus modified gtr head lights and a bigger gtr wing.
I looked at some of the new toyota concepts and some of them look like copies.
I think that car would look alot better with some mods.
True. That and people building sbc's :biglaugh: jk.
Op: A nice 57trim ct 26 build with all supporting mods will get you where you want to go. It really just depends on how far you want to go. If you got the cash build for 500hp and tune for what you want out of the car.
edit: Stock...
if you know what tolerances are and know how to check the clearances and not screw anything up and take the proper steps with a quality machine shop there should be no reason other than the builder for something to go wrong.
edit: its like when some one blows a hg and then keeps driving it...
Not too bad. Its a little bit of work tho. You also need to do an alignment after wards. Make sure to get new rack bushings too. Napa sells outer tie rods for like 20/each also.
so you have 4 or 5k.. best option would be to rebuild a 7m 1j or 2j is easily going to cost you 4-7k+ depending on what you do. you can do a complete quality rebuild on a 7m for under 3k + more.
