Sick dude. I took a couple turbos apart at my work and i was amazed at how easy it was. thought it would have been more complicated but still very interesting at how there designed.
Should be a harness on the tranny with plugs and then some that come down on the drivers side that goes to the tranny. Most of the plugs are different and have different colors so they should match right up.
And for the vacuum hoses...
Take some pictures with a ruler on the exhaust housing where it meets the manifold. It might be a t4 turbo which you would be able to use with a t4 manifold.
Might want to take a look at your spark plugs if youve been cranking and cranking. Could be fouled out.
Just make sure it looks like the picture when installed.
Right side. Have you looked in the tsrm epc? I cant look at it right now but i remember toyota selling it when i got a new pan like 3 years ago and i had one so i didnt want to wait cause it was on back order or something.
Iirc the lift is the same just the duration is different but i dont remember for sure. With a n/a you will have lots of low end and no top end and the other way around for a turbo cam. Tho there is a thread around here somewhere where someone made charts for the difference in them.
