Crank by hand 1 revolution so all the marks are lined up again after the tensioner is tight and torqued and it shouldn't jump a tooth either. Take no 1 sparkplug out and make sure you at tdc then Adjust the cams. Then it should be tight.

There are 264 cams for 7m. Iirc suprarich does regrinds. He also makes his own custom cams. He would be the guy to give a ring if you really wanted cams.

He had a shop install them. If he didnt do it then i doubt hes going to mess with the lash. Any good shop would had done it. He could tho double check with a feeler gauge.

Hx50 or 55 seems a little to massive unless your shooting for real high numbers. The billet precesion turbos seem to be pretty nice. Never ran one but couple buddys have them.

Time and money spent you could have junkyarded 3-4 2jzge motors with big turbos and ran them to shit. Would be nice to see and if your thaty concerned with gas milage then go for it. There also really aint that much wiring diagrams for it either.

If it is still soft it will stretch with some lube. if not either get new or find something else.
