Iirc starion wheels are 16's. Mk4s are heavy but are prolly wider. More a of a looks thing i would think. You want wheels for racing what kind of racing? Road races you would want the lightest wheels To get rid of unsprung weight.

Screws dont need to be adjusted hence why there blocked off with a cap from the factory. Your idle problems are else where. And ya k&N filters will do that.

The pump sucks from the resivour. So when the screen is blocked there is no fluid flow for the pump to do it's job.

Ya do not Stab with screw driver. Pump will die quick with dirt getting to it. Just use brake cleaner and back flush it. Screen cant be removed.
