Trash Can Dash Light, Weird Idle, and other issues

First light is a small radiator telling you that the coolant overflow is empty. Second is for the tail lights. Either you have a bulb out or the light failure sensor under the drivers tail is bad. The coolant lines for the turbo are just 3/8 hose. There is also a little l shaped hose under...

87 has water leak into trunk floor

Could be wing, hatch seal, tail light seals, quarter window, hatch window. Best bet is to get in side the hatch and have someone spray water on different areas and find the leak. Throwing parts can be a frustrating waste of time and money.

    oil pressure woes

Its not pressure that the bearings need its flow. Get too much pressure and you wont have enough flow. Same goes for small block chevys. You can shim the oil pump pop off valve 5mm with washers and the oil cooler pop off valve 5mm and raise the pressure up a little and get more flow. Most...

Specifically for street use (Daily Driving) - Coilovers or Spings/Shocks combo?

Softer spring rates and valving to match would help with that. OPlus you have complete control over the hieght. What tiens are they? Last i checked tien rebuilds there coilovers for like 60 a shock. So long as you didnt destroy them and need all new pistons.

    speedo cable went

Shouldnt have to remove anything on the trans side. Although if your replacing the smaller piece sometimes it can be a pain to get it off the gear on the trans with the trans mount there. Both connections for the big to small and small to gear are just twist on off like bolts and nuts...
