Sure you didnt move it too far forward? There are certain parts of the harness that slide through the hole in the lower intake manifold.
The starter wire, the egr vsv, abs, and reverse lights should all feed through the rear hole on the intake manifold.
Its going to be hard to break it loose with out the wheels on. Picture the wheels as a 5 ft breaker bar.
You could always take the cover off and see for sure.
Be good to reseal up the case with toyota orange fipg to make sure it doesnt leak on you.
All depends on the quality of them, weather or not you track them, and what kind of roads you drive on them.
If its just a weekend car thats gets cruised on they will last a long time.
