I get that point, but that's not what I'm really asking. I'm not doing this because of power... and I know that the block won't be able to be bore again. It's ok though, I found the answer to my question.
Well so sorry if everything requires a thanks. Aaron has help me so far along, and was just hoping that others can just clear this up. :aigo: well nuff said.....guess my presence ain't welcome on supramania. Even for a Mod that is just uncalled for, But thanks for those who appreciate the...
Just thanking aaron from driftmotion ( just incase he stumbles on by). Ok knowing the wall is gonna be thinner would that also mean more prone to cracks or heat transfer? I know that its just a possibility, but just wandering at this point. I'm staying the thermo fan clutch way for now and...
My only question is that my pistons on order was .020. I have been waiting for awhile, and now the only ones they have in stock is .040. Though .040 was never in my mind, considering the long wait and need, I've decided to just go with .040 pistons. Thanks aaron, but I was just wandering if...
Hey guys, I have looked and searched online with some information. Now my questions is that .20 or .40 which is better. I know that increasing the volume is better for overall power out put, but would it also be reliable as a DD? So my question is .20 or .40 pistons.
Got my STUFF. THanks rich, though longer then liked, now my machinist can start finish the motor. One question.... which side is the oil scraper should face up towards the rods? The side with the IJ ingraving? Thanks again.
As a customer and a ma70 owner, I only wish to have good communication between us. One reason is that emailing and calling wasn't efficient in getting to you, so I started this thread to help surface a minor problem. And it did. Thanks for the fast email, but all I got was parts was shipped...
Thanks alot for your input. I have been dealing with driftmotion only with excellent results. Only reason I went to order with sipracing is for the OEM oil pump and oil scraper. Thought I get two hits then just the scraper. Even if he is super busy, he does operate an ebay account that...
Trust me I have tried many times. 4 emails and 3 phone calls ( phone calls ended being messages only). My only question here is if any other members on here had similar situations good or bad. If sipracingmailorder fall upon this thread, please be fair and let me know what is going on.
Anyone here has issue in contacting sipracingmailorder.com or getting a hold of rich? It seems I don't get any email reply about my order? My machinist is getting very impatient. If rich is here I need those parts asap, if my machinist is gonna start charging me storage fees :icon_evil.
go stud for the m6x1.0 bolts and stay bolts for the m8x1.25 unless you can find studs. I just prefer studs because of their higher tensil strength and they won't strip the threads in future R&R. As the gasket goes, just clean the surface and use the factory gasket. Apply some sort of sealant...
I got that marlin shifter bushing from driftmotion, but having the darnest time trying to removal the two alignment pins for the shifter. Anyone with previous experience please help. Thanks.
NPR are oem spec replacements(aka aftermarket replacments). They aren't actual oem pistons. There is reasons to why NPR are lighter and cost 120.00 new with rings for the set. <--- That is something that you can't question. True ringland can break because of poor tuning.... but they also...
GRIM is right. MAFT translator will only allow you too tune so far. This is such a common upgrades on karman (most famous in the DSM world). To have more flexibility in tuning ... just go MAFT PRO. Maft translator means finding a GM maf and piggyback for better tuning. So wouldn't it make...
Searching can prove that NPR will offer the power and replacement needed.... but quality and longevity is an issue. Has anyone have NPR's in their motor for more then 30k? I heard NOW that NPR cut corners on the ringlands. <--not good.
Probe is a good addition to your goals. Going forged...
