Good times guys. I hope everybody had a fun rippin' around in old red shitty. Man, on the way home we took some back roads - hello rod knock, pleased to meet you :) Good thing it's a 5M!
Well, after an unsuccessful PS3 attempt, I decided to treat myself to some new parts.
Aeromotive FPR
Lucas 550 Injectors
Braided lines and fittings
So now I have all my fuel upgrade goodies =)
Pros: Much better flow in. IC piping doesn't go across the engine soaking up heat. IC piping is shorter - so better throttle response. You can run a good IC with end-to-end tanks.
Cons: Ron isn't making them anymore SO I have to learn welding! =)
You'll need a new IC, and piping to match. You...
Yeah...I think ;) I bought the car off and older guy who had the head gasket done at the dealership in about '98. So, I would imagine it's a stocker with the new torque specs? Either way, I'm planning on a new HG soon =)
Fuel pumps are way better than math...heh.
The coilovers from that guy in Japan usually go for quite a bit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=330043402678&rd=1&rd=1 I've been watching for the right deal for a while now ;)
well, you know I'll prolly take the fidenza off of your hands once I get my new clutch. I don't have crazy power goals ... ~400 would be the absolute max. So if you need to buy a new one, you'll have some cash for it =)
All I have to say is wow. Your dad rocks :) I look forward to seeing some more pictures of this thing.
Do you plan on doing any more work engine wise etc? With that type of attention to detail, you could build up one slick (and shiney!) looking supra.
