I'm no help because I've never seen or heard of either of those during my last ten years of Supra involvement. I assume this is a JDM Supra, right? The only reason I can see why anyone would want to retard timing on a stock turbo MkIV is if you have to run low octane, like less than 91...

I agree with that advice. But if it needs more than a pro detailing can recover, I think it's better to have, or to sell, a nice clean looking car than a faded dented one. Whatever you do, do quality. You get what you pay for in most cases.
