no disrespect intended, te....but now I'm studying up on incest.
To bring this back on topic of Supras, the reason I want to talk with her is that little gold foil bikini bottom. I recently did gold foil heat shield on the underside of my hood and I'd like to ask her how that has held up...
For some reason the title of this thread suddenly made me post this picture. If any of you know who she is, it's important that I speak with her right away...thanks ;)
Any of you guys planning to be in the StreetWars7 thing? I'm meeting a couple of MkIV guys on Belmont Plateau early Sunday morning and then we're driving over. I've never been to this one but it's supposed to be huge, and a very large turnout of Supras seems inevitable. It would be nice to...
I have a lead foot so I get about 1000 smiles per gallon. My setup allows running 600whp+ on 93 oct pump and that increases my fun factor. Otherwise, I don't measure how long the fuel lasts.
Tonuch,
see Julio's first post and click on "Google Map". It's not really where that marker is, take that road down to the river and drive along until you see us...about half way to the end of the access road along the river park area.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'm going to keep looking at some of these skirts online and with a big N.E. show coming up Apr 17 (StreetWars7) I think I'll even see some in person.
Thanks, guys.
Based on your suggestion, I just looked at pics of the Stillen skirts. I'll let it grow on me a bit and see what I think since I'm not used to thinking about body alterations. First impression of the Stillen is the front edge sticks out sideways a bit too much for my taste...
Accumulated junk can definitely make a big difference. Also, I never had electric fans, but at least on the MkIV chassis with 2JZGTE there are very few electric fans that can push as much air as the stock fan. Also, once you are rolling over about 20 mph, the fan is of little or no use to help...
I was just googling "rude and arrogant" in search of new friends who are like me, and luckily I stumbled upon this thread! Hi fellow R & A's!
If I may indulge the knowledge and experience of fellow Supramaniacs: I seek guidance in a matter of design and taste and would like opinions. I just...
finally another meet! Please let the authorities know that I shall be in attendance.
chicken's kinda blue by now but I'll bring it anyway. I had the impression from last time that you guys are KFC hounds...or what about Popeye's?
I'll have to check mine out to see if it's perfect. I suspect it is. I had my original one, then about 35,000 miles ago when I went single I added another supra denso. A week or so ago as we're checking stuff to fire up my built motor we saw signs that the original pump has seen its best...
If I stopped eating all this pizza and beer I'd barely have any body roll, too!
To share a bit of MkIV turning news with my MkIII brothers, take note of the recent win by Curtis aka MyKarIsVicious in the Super Street Castrol Syntec Top Car challenge
seems like that thread link isn't working so look in Supraforums "builds and projects" section for my thread titled "Twin GT2860's, Twin Tial WG's and BOV's, on all V-band moded HKS twin manifolds" currently on page 4
hey KickRocks,
you left me a message and I replied but in case you don't go there again I'm posting it here in your messages:
Yes, I have some build info in a thread at Supraforums and also at Supra411.com, pretty much the same info. It's just what I could put together after it was already...
hey KickRocks,
yes, I have some build info in a thread at Supraforums and also at Supra411.com, pretty much the same info. It's just what I could put together after it was already done.
Look in this thread and if you don't see what you or your friend wants to know, just ask and I'll try...
I would say cost and reliability, and the added problem of how to control the vanes.
Since Porsche is doing it in their newest turbo 997's, I have to believe reliability is very good at least up to that power level. But it seems to me that when the Porsche's are built up to higher power...
strange coincidence...mine did something like that about 2 weeks ago so this was my first Supra antenae failure. I thought the motor was shot on mine since I didn't even hear a noise from it. When I had the body shop fix the hood and stuff, they found that the plastic toothed "gear" that runs...
You should see my yard at the moment. It looks like a junk yard. I took everything out of my garage, hosed down the entire interior, swept it out and now my Supra is living in there from now on. I had not been garaging it as much as I would have liked due to CGD ...cluttered garage disease...
