    jza70 R edition

**UPDATED** - had to remove outdated images I found what I wanted; an authentic '91 twin turbo recaro edition! It was imported to Canadian soils the year prior, I became the second-owner. This was the car as of 2010: The hood fell victim to to sun fade, VIS Racing replaced it with a carbon...

    BOV installed, just double checking.

Yeah I drive my car how it's suppose to be driven. And the couplers are so it goes from the 2.5" flange to the 2.25" piping.

    BOV installed, just double checking.

Well my cars automatic sadly, so maybe thats why I haven't had any problems at all with shifting. Like I said the only time my car has almost stalled is when it;'s been sitting for atleast a day and I try to fire her up. Thats because it needs minor work and seals replaced as it leaks oil and...

    BOV installed, just double checking.

I actually did push towards hard instead of soft, and the only time I might have encountered the stalling after shifts when letting off is when it was it hadn't ran in a day and it was more likely bc of an oil leak and low oil pressure I thought. Edit: oh and as for the loss of MPG, the AFM...

    BOV installed, just double checking.

I posted this on alberta supra club and their was a fair ammount of positive feedbacks. But it's always nice to hear other opinions. MPG loss, reason being? A couple people suggested recirculatory bovs > venting to the atmosphere but I don't quite understand why? Most turbo sleds I've...

    BHG help

You obviously didn't search that herd. But for starters your gonna need some money, you'll need the head and block machined depending on the headgasket you get, I'd suggest a HKS metal headgasket, I have a steel one on mine but the previous owner did that and I fear he might not of got it...

88Guys Just make it work build!

Nice, I'm on about the same stage for my car I just swapped the motors out and then ran into a overheating problem from losing coolant but it was just a split hose. Have lots of parts to add on but I'm gonna wait to buy a new exhaust before I put on my boost controller and new blowoff valve so...

    Screaming in my Supra!

haha that was awesome, wish I had someone to take me for a rip in a 650+ RWH Supra. All I've really ridden in is muscle cars, besides the supra I'm fixing now but I'll be lucky to have 300rwh by the end of the summer.

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Yeah I'd say so, not to mention they can handle what you throw at them. I seen a 99 envoy? with a body kit and rims and it had a 4.2L vortec with a vortec supercharger, but to see it turboed and going into a supra is quite the feat.

    Beals' Supra Project

Figured I should put a couple pictures of my project up here and fill in the rest once it's complete. Currently just swapping an '88 motor out of a rustbucket into a '87 in decent shape just has a blown motor. But anyways heres the 1987 Supra Turbo, the bodies in pretty decent shape besides a...

    Silly 350z's

Yeah I like the gold rims on the white it looks good, theirs a white fd rx7 running around town here with gold rims and I think the looks of it is pretty sick too. But I prefer the MK3, I do own two myself. haha

safc and fcd installed together or no

hahaha, you crack me up man. But yeah I was kind of wondering about that, because the SAFC and FCD go in about the same spot. But yeah I'd have to say I learned quite a bit just from the arguing going on. lol

Hey guys! New Supra MKIII owner saying hello!

not that bad, he just meant where the spare tire goes its starting to rust. But over-all the car looks great. I'm sure my car has more rust then that in the same spot, I'm almost afraid to look lol.

    My '90 Supra

Wow I was trying to read up on the whole thread to see what you all did and it's pretty amazing. It really makes me wanna finish my mk3, but it's been raining here and I've been doing the engine swap on my buddies driveway so it sure slows things down. Kind of glad I stuck with the 7mgte and not...

    Getting my car running again

Yeah I must say I love the detailing you put into your rebuild. I'm kind of rushing just to get my motor swap in. But I'm thinking about saving up some money and rebuilding the numbers matching block back up later, although it's blown right now and has a couple thrown rods.
