Im certainly confused.
How can a normally closed (aka closed when not supplyied with power) can be normally opened?
No power is no power, until your valve is a normally opened one, whatever dipswitch there are. I also may confused about the solenoid valve you have lol.
Cool Fromgehenna thanks!
GC89: Shimming will not bring the idle pressure up. It will only bring max pressure up.
Increasing pump rpm increases flow and so idle pressure. you may read here...
This is an awesome built. In for info about the oil pump overdrive pulley please.
Ho, and willing to buy an adaptor.
We get the same pulley on a shelf at a wrecker, but can't sort the original vehicle.
OK for bov. If there is any leak, from it, it can richen on foot release and the car stall.
FCD usually lean out near top end. I don't know them because for me it's devil. Fuel Cut is a security for when boost exceed injector capabilities. So why not bigger injector instead?
DTC may be the new...
I get that the valve is normally closed, which would be fine for a internal WG, as there is no leak and this allow stock spring pressure.
I guess this is a normal behavior of the valve?
I don't really know dual ports external wategate. How should it be hooked without BC?
Haters gonna hate.
Thank you for the write up Karlou.
BTW you forgot some details, as mentionned
I have changed oil squirters when I rebuilt my engine. Old ones were probably leaking, and it is cheap insurance.
There is also a big pressure waste by a used CT26. The CT26 is the reason why we...
Salut,
On EUDM a least, MAF has a switch to cut fuel pump. You may force fuel pump in the diagnostic connector jumping B+ and FP with a good wire.
I may have some silicon plumbing to sell:
I only miss 17881 from your diagram

I think Nashman get 288's at the same time. They both came from Zumtizzle.
LordDigital, your knoweldge on Group A is awsome !
With today fuels, I think the stock 7M combustion chamber is better than the Group-A one.
I have Group A cams, here are "camcard" if interested:
I have forged internal and a 3p's ECU. I will try to convert to map later.
I agree with HKS_TRD: "but there are other MA70s out there on...
In case of computer problem, the CEL would be lit off with engine stopped. The stock ECU light on the CEL when booted and ready.
Don't ask me how I know :p (in case you ask: I had daughter board
I've done a cruise control conversion on a Aristo sterring wheel to retrofit it on my MK3:

I think the noise come from the bottom end.
On the top end it would be half beats per minute. I'm not sure a broken valve spring or a popped valve shim would make this noise.
Check for a bent crankcase.
If not, it sound like rod knock or a bent rod.
